This project documents a Shower Waterproof Backer Board Installation completed to properly prepare a shower enclosure for future tile work. Initially, the wall framing and substrate were inspected and adjusted to ensure correct alignment and support. Then, waterproof backer boards were installed across all shower walls, providing a stable and moisture-resistant surface. In addition, fastener placement and panel joints were carefully planned to accommodate subsequent waterproofing layers. Consequently, the shower area is structurally prepared to manage moisture exposure while supporting long-term durability.
